Salmon and cod are both fish that are gentle on the stomach, making it a great choice for dogs with allergies as well as being rich in protein. They’re also bountiful in omega-3 fatty acids yet low in saturated fats, making them very healthy fish. They also contain several vitamins and minerals including vitamin B12 and vitamin D which are all key to nervous system health and energy production, as well as phosphorous and selenium which are vital for general organ function.
